Out-of-Home Leader Continues To Grow West Coast Footprint

New York, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/-Titan has increased its position in the Southern California transit advertising space by winning the contract to sell advertising on and in Long Beach Transit vehicles.

The contract commences October 1, 2009 and Titan will begin selling the advertising immediately. Titan already has the exclusive rights to sell Orange County Transportation Authority and Los Angeles DOT Transit media.

"Adding Long Beach Transit gives advertisers a greater ability to reach Southern California consumers. Long Beach is the 6(th) largest city in California and the 36(th) largest in the United Sates and really helps to give us an unbeatable position in the region. We will hit the ground running and begin selling immediately." Long Beach Transit consists of 250 Buses that service 38 routes, covering virtually all of Long Beach, seven days a week.

In addition to Long Beach, other cities serviced by Long Beach Transit include Lakewood, Signal Hill and portions of Artesia, Bellflower, Carson, Cerritos, Hawaiian Gardens, Norwalk, Paramount and Seal Beach - an area of 98 square miles. In addition to 90,000 daily and 28 million annual passengers, 97.3 percent of Long Beach consumers will see Long Beach Transit's exterior advertising over the course of a month.

Long Beach Transit was the first Transit Authority in the U.S. to introduce gas-electric hybrid vehicles to its fleet. Over half the fleet is made up of hybrid vehicles with the rest using low carbon emitting ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel, giving advertisers a very green way of reaching consumers.
