Titan Worldwide Dominates San Francisco Market With Municipal Transportation Agency Contract Win

New York, NY–June 22, 2009– Having earlier this week announced the win of the AC Transit contract in Oakland, Titan Worldwide has been awarded an exclusive 5-year contract with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (MUNI), one of the oldest and most famous public transit agencies in the U.S. and the seventh largest system in the U.S. Like the AC Transit contract, MUNI is a win from CBS Outdoor who had held the contract since 1985.

The contract takes effect on July 1st, 2009 and covers MUNI's 1000 strong fleet of Buses, Trolley Buses, Light Rail Lines and world famous Cable Cars that offer advertisers complete coverage of the San Francisco market.

Signing MUNI gives Titan dominance of the San Francisco transit advertising market. In 2008, the company signed a 10-year contract with Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), the nation's fifth largest all-rail public transit agency, which carries nearly 100 million passengers yearly.

"San Francisco's MUNI system represents an iconic part of the American landscape and is seen by hard to reach consumers everyday," said Don Allman, President and CEO, Titan Worldwide. "Our footprint in the Bay Area now reaches almost all of the population of the San Francisco Bay Area. By adding MUNI and AC Transit to our existing BART advertising we can offer clients and agencies unrivalled access to consumers with the best Bay Area media by far."
